Overview:
We are seeking a Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team at a busy grocery store. As a Customer Service Associate / Cashier, you will play a key role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth transactions at the checkout counter.

Duties:
- Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude
- Scan and bag items accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions
- Provide product information and assist with product demos as needed
- Answer customer questions and resolve any issues or concerns
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Assist with stocking shelves and maintaining inventory levels
- Follow all company policies and procedures regarding cash handling, safety, and security

Skills:
- Cash handling experience is preferred
- Strong phone etiquette skills for handling customer inquiries over the phone
- Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in English; multilingual skills, particularly Spanish, are a plus
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and calculating change
- Knowledge of technology sales is beneficial
- Familiarity with grocery store operations is desirable

Pay: $16.50 - $17.00 per hour
